I’m on my way to Belize.  First stop Houston!

You can get internet on the plane now!  So I’m writing this as we fly over a very snow clad wilderness which according to the inflight information is Goose Bay Newfoundland!! I hope the pilot doesn’t decide to emergency land here!  My only bit of warm clothing is a fleece!

I have to fly from Manchester to Houston and then get another flight to Belize tomorrow.

I could have flown via Miami which appealed to me greatly but the difference in the cost of the flights was significant.

Flights booked I wondered why Houston was so full when I tried to book accommodation online.  I thought perhaps it was an “astronaut Convention.” If there were any rooms available they cost almost as much as it did to fly there!

I did manage to book a bed in a dormitory in a hostel!  Nothing like jumping in at the deep end.
